A school psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing essential support to a 5th-6th grade building. This contract role involves working closely with students, staff, and families to address academic, social, and emotional needs through assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Support the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework by collaborating with educators and providing data-driven strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs
- Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and plans
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
Qualifications
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with elementary school populations, preferably grades 5 and 6
- Strong understanding of MTSS and response to intervention (RTI) models
- Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and developing individualized plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location and Schedule:
- Position is fully on-site with one day per week work-from-home flexibility
- Located in Coatesville, PA area
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 30 hours weekly required
